I did a video version of this review here:
The plugins are available for purchase here:

The secret sauce of Fazertone plugins are the AI-Modeling process that goes into their creation. I was lucky enough to have a dialog with Fazertone plugin guru Victor Lewis. He described to me the three types of analog emulation available on the market.
The first is traditional, ‘white-box’, emulation. This is where you take the circuit of the device your attempting to emulate and have a direct representation in code of each of the components of the circuit. The second is ‘black-box’ emulation. This is convolution, best exemplified in guitar cabinet impulse responses. These capture the exact output of a device, but don’t offer any flexibility in changing the parameters. It is an exact representation of one parameter state of the device being emulated, not the entire parameter range. AI combines the two. It trains a neural network to note the output at every parameter and input level. The result is the benefits of both approaches. The plugin behaves like a white-box emulation parametrically and a black-box emulation sonically.
Of course, all of this is immaterial if it doesn’t sound good. But these plugins sound awesome. They are a little resource hungry, but nothing crazy. If you’re looking for 9 classic distortion pedals that are at or near best-in-class, the Fazertone Overdrive Essentials bundle is a good product to choose.
Okay. That’s all. Goodbye.
